    Yes, they are gay. Now don't get me wrong, I don't have a problem with gay people unless they wake me up at 2am having erm "fun", stamping around, playing music so loud that I can't actually here the person sat next to me talking. Then they have the cheek to tell my brothers girlfriend all about how bad we are. They didn't say that they were 10 times worse though. They didn't know that my brothers girlfriend was actually seeing my brother. So I just have a hatred for those two.

    If you're on a tough budget, you might want to consider swapping to AMD/ATI. An AMD build tends to be cheaper than an Intel build. It is a little bit slower but it will be barely noticeable. Intel offer better performance, but at a higher price.

    I got my CPU today :D Put it in earlier and wow, it's fast. So me being me decided to overcock it. The stock speed is 3.2Ghz, I got it to 3.8Hhz within seconds. I can and will push it further when I need to. Also, with having an AM3 CPU, I could Increase the speed of my RAM. It's rated at 800Mhz but it's performance RAM so that went up to 1066Mhz with timings of 5-5-5-15. Now it boots into Windows 7 within 10 seconds. It also Idles at 30C and full load for an hour got it to 46C. So all in all, it's a fantastic chip in every way apart from mine was dirty and needed cleaning. >.<

    I ended p talking to Diablo about this in the CB. He could do the active members but as Mike said, the yearly donation bar isn't possible at the moment.

    Yea, it's too much, but I wanna get the most out of my money. And when just on the internet, it will be running at about a third of that because of my power options hack. :lol:

    Ewwww ewwww ewwwww ewwwwww. Software overclocking of the CPU may not have a presence in this thread. :cheeky: I only use the BIOS to overclock the CPU, RAM and any voltages. It takes longer but it's a bit safer and much more accurate. I'm not flashing my GFX card so I use software for that. I'll probably be overclocking it on Sunday or Monday so I'll get back to you on that. I should hopefully be able to reach the 4Ghz mark with my mobo and cooler, but I'd be happy with 3.8Ghz from it.

    You're only saying that because it performs as well as your i7 920. :cheeky: One of the main reasons for buying it was that my brother needs a new CPU, so I said he could have mine, which meant I had an excuse to buy a new one. And it was only £140

    Just ordered myself an AMD Phenom II 955 black Edition. It's AM3 so I can upgrade my motherboard to AM3 and RAM to DDR3 whenever I want to now. :) I will be overclocking it when I get it. Aiming to reach a cool and stable 4Ghz with my cooler. Anyone else got the 955 or any other Phenom II CPUs?

    This is stupid how they are still doing this. Innocent people have been cut off and iirc a 70 year old woman got her internet cut-off due to suspected illegal file Sharing. So they must be spying on you then, to see what you are doing on the internet. Encrytion is the way forwards. Or using stupid neighbours unprotected networks.

    I didn't say it was wrong because it beat everyone. :rolleyes: Your result just said 12 seconds. This could be anywhere from 11.5 - 12.499 Seconds. NitroBlueUK got 12.109 seconds, which is also in that same boundary. Maybe yours was faster, but maybe it wasn't. So putting you ahead would be unfair. Does that sound reasonable to you? And as NitroBlue UK said, you need to use Super Pi mod/1.5XS version which is in the first post.
