1. The rule is in the simplest of terms stupid. Should be scrapped ASAP. Formula 1 is a team sport, they employ hundreds, and in some cases thousands of people to get their 2 cars to the end of the race as fast as possible. It doesn't add to the spectacle when some of the cars are running around with issues that the drivers can't be assisted with. Baku is a good example of that with Hamilton, Austria with Perex(I think) crashing due to a brake issue that the team couldn't tell him about.
2. I'm not blaming the game or Nintendo. It's just an enabler for peoples inner stupid. Just like how some people always give food to other and end up making them rather large. It's not the feeders fault that the eater can't control their own mouth. :hmmm: I just don't think we need even more people not paying attention to their surroundings but that's the players choice. I know what I mean. >.<
3. No. I am already sick to the back teeth. No, sick to all of my teeth at seeing this on Facebook and generally everywhere I look on the internet. How long before some moron walks out in front of a bus or something because they're busy messing about trying to catch a pokemon that only they can see? :fp: I see the appeal of it to kids but adults walking around the office trying to catch them. *shakes head* Still, a £5billion increase in company value in a few days is pretty damn impressive!
4. No Man's Sky Finally Goes Gold No Mans Sky, if you've not heard of this title yet from (former) indie developer Hello Games then where have you been and how did you find a rock big and light enough to live under for the past 2 years? Anywho, I digress, one of my most eagerly anticipated games of the year and possibly decade so far has finally gone gone after a short initial delay. No Mans Sky offers explorers the chance to visit a vast array of planets coming from a pool of over 18 quintilian planets. Yes, that is 18,446,744,073,709,551,616. I'm not even going to try and explain that number, I'll just let you digest it. As you explore through the universe you will come across a vast array of planets that are all unique with differing levels of life, vegetation, resources and buildings. There are even aliens! And when you discover a new life form, your discovery will be stored online so other people who come across that life form will know that you discovered it. Whether or not you will come across somebody elses discovery is another matter. You could even play for years without coming across another fellow human being in game. It really is just that big. Something to look forward to after the initial release is the possibility of Virtual Reality support. There have been rumours running about for over a year that No Man's Sky may eventually get VR support. This would definitely be up there with Dirt Rally for VR support. Exploring has never been so easy. What are you waiting for, get ready with your snacks of choice to go exploring far flung worlds whilst sat in your pants in the comfort of your living room. Life has never been so good, not that its something that I would do myself though... Roll on August 9th/10th. 5. The F1 tides do appear to have turned. First 5 races went to Rosberg and the last 5 have been more on Hamiltons side with the exception of Baku. Should be a spicy second half of the season that's for sure. But surely there will be plenty of penalties going Hamiltons way for using more engines than allowed. :hmmm:
6. Early reports are that Rosberg actually got a penalty, 10 seconds. Which means he drops down to 3rd place, promoting Max to 2nd which imo is deserved after that impressive overtake he made and he would more than likely have finished ahead of Rosberg had he not been told what to do over the radio.
7. Turned out to be a great race after a bit of a crap start behind the safety car. Shame about Max not being able to hold on to second place but with the decision on Rosberg still not known as the stewards are taking their sweet time, Max could still get P2. Roll on Hungary!
8. It's a bit wet at Silverstone... With only 15 minutes to go. If it doesn't ease off the race might be delayed. >.<
9. Hamilton, Rosberg, Verstappen to start in the top three for tomorrows race. Apparently it was close between Hamilton and Rosberg but 3 tenths of a second in F1 is like comparing a 1 litre Ford Ka with a BMW 3 series. :hmmm: Home advantage for Hamilton maybe? Would love to see a bit of rain tomorrow to spice things up, even more.
10. Oculus VR Support Coming to Dirt Rally Next Week There aren't any games that I can think of that would suit VR more than Codemasters awesome Dirt Rally. With how immersive the game already is when simply playing with a normal monitor and controller I can't imagine how on the edge you would be in VR. The Oculus support will be added in a regular, run of the mill free patch on Monday 11th July. Just 4 sleeps for those of you lucky enough to own the Oculus. Now imagine playing this game with VR whilst sat in one of those motion rigs. I for one would struggle to keep my breakfast down!
11. Welcome to the nuthouse! :welcome:
12. Tucked up on at my mums house. Will be getting moved to my garage when the MG has gone.
13. Thanks for sharing this Diablo. My heart rate was up just watching him, never mind actually doing it. Absolutely stunning.
14. Goodbye old friend. Yes, I know my garden was a mess, this has now been fixed...
15. Great news to see that he realised this and didn't drag it out till the end of his contract or until he got sacked. I'd be fairly happy with Harris, Reid and Sabine as the main presenters. If the producers let them just be themselves then I think it could be a pretty good show, especially with time and once they all settle in to being behind a camera, or 10 at any one time.
16. Or maybe it's Kimi just not wasting word. Don't normally like the Car Throttle videos but this one was fairly entertaining to watch thanks to Kimi being Kimi.
17. Times have been set. I think you should leave me with a challenge if I get time at some point this week.
18. Crash at the end of FP3 for Rosberg. Snapped rear wishbone when on the kerb sent him into the wall which means they have about 2 hours to rebuild his car and also a 5 place grid penalty for a gearbox change. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d7bd8rQUEmc
19. Indeed I could but that's also full of pitfalls. If I park near the trees my cars gets covered in sap and bird crap. Or I could park in the overflow car park and swim to the office and get my doors hit by other peoples car doors again. :( Could always buy a car cover just for when they cut the grass.
20. Most of the grass has gone after the torrential rain this afternoon but next time they do it, which they will, I'll take a picture.
21. I did not realise that this layout made the track go in reverse. Fun track though with the bumps on the entry/exit to some of the corners.
22. Really liking the back of the new Panamaramnama. And the Cactus is a slight, very slight improvement over the current Cactus but it's still rather hideous in my eyes.
