I liked all of it. Had a good laugh.
THIS POST IS 100% PERSONAL OPINION AND IS IN NO WAY, SHAPE OR FORM A FACT. IF YOU DON'T AGREE WITH ME THEN THAT'S FINE, BUT DON'T MOAN AT ME ABOUT MY OPINION.

Well all of my parts came!
Although nothing at all went to plan. I broke a rather large, strong 12" monkey wrench compressing the suspension to get the old bits out. According to my brother it's because I went into hulk mode when doing it. He's bigger and stronger than me but he couldn't turn the big nut when I could.
So I broke the wrench which resulted in it hitting the rocker cover and me falling flat on my arse. I think I'm going to pay to have it done at a garage as I injured myself doing the safe easy bit. The next part was where you can lose fingers or eyes if the compression tool breaks.
I also broke my new screwdriver trying to get a bolt from the radiator bracket with the socket attachment on it. The bolt is pretty damn corroded and it's the wrong size for the hole...
So all in all I broke my 2 most expensive tools, fell over and accomplished nothing in an entire day. =D
Still love it though, awesome little it.
E: Oh, it also starts first time in -7C within a second or two after it's not been started for days which is pretty damn good to say it's which the thick oil. It starts quicker than my dads car in the cold and that's over 20 years newer. :hmmm:

:yay:
My car runs awesomely now. Cleaned the air filter and it's stopped the rattling noise when I accelerate and it lets me actually accelerate. Now I can do 25mph in first gear easily and it's still in the power band. Before it sounded like it was going to blow up doing 10-15 in first.
It also sounds like a car now when I'm driving it rather than a tractor. Much faster too which means my MPG will plummet. >.<
Just waiting for my anti-freeze and the new thermostat to fix the cooling, it's not good at that at the moment. The oil seal kit and suspension parts will be coming at the same time too.
It's also brilliant in the snow, I could do hill starts on steep hills where even some 4x4s were struggling to get up.

Surprisingly mine is the same. Gives a nice roar, especially at idle with the choke out in the morning waking my street up.

Bought a cable the other day that lets me use my Xbox pad on my phone so I bought this at work. I mean at home.

He almost crashed into me. He did crap himself when he heard my tyres sliding down the hill towards him.
Maybe that's what made my car have a pee.
Just ordered about £100 worth of parts too. Not sure when they'll get here though.

Had two new front tyres fitted. Also had the rear tyres taken off, the inside of the alloys cleaned with a wire brush grinder thingy and then the same tyres reseated. They both leaked about 2PSI per day but now they should be fine. One of them also had a puncture which was fixed for a fiver. New valves and wheel weights all round too. Handles so much better now and not the slightest bit of wheel vibration at 55mph. Use to feel it a bit at 40.
The mechanic also knew to jack the car up using the subframes and not the floors! I was shocked.

Went out for a nice 60 mile drive earlier. Took a 40 minute video of me being scared dodging potholes which I'll get uploaded later or tomorrow. It did between 65 and 70mph surprisingly easily but then blew a cloud of smoke under the car which came through the hole where the gearbox cover should be. It didn't like doing that speed. We think it was oil being burnt off as it is a tad over the max mark on the dipstick.
It was so fun but there's still plenty of work that needs to be done on the car.
New front tyres
New valves on the rear alloys
New alloy wheel caps(only has 2...)
Ride height adjustable suspension cones
Find the main leak
Fix the windscreen seal
Refurb and repaint the alloys white
New oil seals, CV joint and knuckle gaiters
Maybe a new exhaust, not just a tip like the current one
Might get a quickshift kit
4 wheel tracking
Nothing too expensive. It will cost about £100-150 minus the tyres which will be about £125 alone.

Exactly haha.
Went and bought a trolley jack today but it wouldn't fit under the front of the car. It would sort of but not under the subframe, just a few mm too tall. So we tried to get each wheel onto a plank of wood 47mm thick with a sloped edge. But nope, couldn't do it. We had to push it while I was using the engine to get up. Managed to make it up in the end and change the oil. Oil didn't loo too great... And only 3 litres came out when there should be 4.5 in it.
Also found the horn and screen washer. They're funny.
For the first few miles after the oil change the car had no power at all. But once It got around the engine it was like a whole new car. Very nippy but it's probably slow. Feels really quick.
Although before it started working properly I had someone flash their lights at me because I could only do 20mph up a hill in second with my foot down. But then I shot away on the corners which put a smile on my face.

Had an interesting day...
Made the ramps today. Only just made it up the first step. Planed them off so it was a less steep gradient and much smoother. Made if just over halfway up and it just couldn't make it further and I rolled backwards, straight over the blocks of wood behind the rear tires and straight into my stepdads tool shed.
So there's a big exhaust shaped hole in the side of it. And also all of the water and muck got shot out of the exhaust and also made the side of the shed black. My car took a dump.
So it's a good job I didn't buy the metal ramps as I'd have no chance getting up them as my wooden ones were only 4 steps high and not 5.
Getting a jack tomorrow to lift the car up and put the ramps under the tires. I will get the car on the ramps!
