Hello!
What do you want?
This is version 2 of Ryzza's PC Benchmarking thread. The original was a good idea but as it only beched your GPU I thought we could make this a bit more interesting and thorough.
How exactly?
Ah, thought you'd never ask. By using 3DMark Fire Strike! It benchmarks both your GPU and your CPU individually and in unison before spitting out your score at you.
So how do I go about doing this?
You go here: 3DMark cross-platform benchmark for Windows, Android and iOS
It costs money!
Hang on, scroll down to here:
Choose where you want to download from and go!
Then what?
Download the program and install it on your PC. When done, you will be greeted by this screen:
Simply click RUN and go! :D
And then?
The program will run through 5 cutscenes which will take 5-10 minutes. You have to just wait through these. It goes in the order Demo -> Graphics Test 1 -> Graphics Test 2 -> Physics Test -> Combined Test.
Bah, boring...
Maybe if you don't feel like admiring the shiny graphics. Go have a snack or something.
How do I know it's done?
You will get your results thrown at you. The window will look like this:
Graphics = GPU, Physics = CPU
You can even click "Compare online" and see how your PC compares to other who have taken the test if you want to. If so you will be redirected to their website and see something like this:
That's looks neat!
Yes, so what are you waiting for? Go try it and then post your results down below. :D
