  1. So you and everyone else had better enter my competition competition then. ;)
  2. That's nice of them. Although they did pay for that footage... is it still $14k per episode?
  3. You went one above me, which means I'm the only person who has entered your competition.

  5. I saw a sponge and a glass frog that looks like Kermit, and it's not even 9am here yet #TodayIsGunnaBeGood
  6. Still riding?
  7. So that means I win the key? :mailhappy: TD's comp reminds me of this
  8. I'll send a PM to Rob and find out.
  9. Yep, copied that from their website. I know we have a lot (layouts) but I think you're right, 110 is pushing it. Unless they know something we don't. I had that slide under control  (forgot I had KERS active when I hit the gas entering the chicane)
  10. Got any comments on that one? ^
  11. He obviously hasn't discovered YouTube  I guess the point is that he hasn't lost a normal job, he's lost something extraordinary, so the crash is much greater.
  12. Great idea, TestDriver. But let's see you write it as if you were hosting the competition (i.e. don't write in the third person). The extra detail and smileys will go a long way here. :bdance:
  13. Gah, don't know how you guys manage to take photos in racing games, as that means you have to... stop racing
  14. So that's the end. Final WMD build was published last Friday, which represents the Day 1 patch available to the public when the purchase the game. It's still not perfect in a few areas, but overall SMS have delivered a game that the community can be very proud of. To see press compare us to Forza and GT is pretty special, but it will be interesting to see how the casual gamepad racers find the game. I don't think I've played another racing game where I can pretend that the AI are online players. They're skillful, challenging, daring, and sometimes imperfect. For me it makes racing them an absolute blast. See my latest video here. tduck members can also win a PC copy of the game.
  15. In search of some nostalgia, recreating the first race available to us in the first WMD build and comparing it to the original footage I still have. The racing last night was truly epic. Quite lucky not to get suspension damage in a couple of incidents. (Let's just say there were a few outtakes and race restarts). :) All details ultra'd out at DS4X (which I guess is similar to 4K res) and High FXAA on my new Titan X. Was hovering around 50-70 FPS.
  16. New competition that you actually have a chance of winning: turboduck Competition Competition. Win a Steam key for Project CARS! | turboduck forum
  17. Ok so it's now time to announce that turboduck has digital copy of Project CARS Limited Edition to give away to our community! :excited: Only problem is that I can't think of a good competition to find a winner. So what you need to do is suggest an awesome competition in a post below. The person who submits the best competition wins the PC Steam key. What we're looking for: * Detail * Something that could actually be actioned in future. * Just that little touch of zaniness that turboduck is famous for * Inclusion of smileys * Members would love to compete in your competition even without a prize because it's so amazing. * You should ideally be an active member of the turboduck community. It's not too late to start now! (but don't spam). You've got time to think about this one. We'll be announcing a winner on Friday May 1st (so get your entry in by Thursday 30/4/15 to be safe). You must be online and available to activate the awarded key as soon as possible, as it might not work after release. :bparty: :bparty: :bparty:
  18. If you've got even more time Otherwise
  19. If you've got an hour: Online faction race with Ahautz
  20. SMS have confirmed the golden build (and we were so close to b1000), and we now have the release date of May 7 for Europe and May 12 for USA. Andy Garton also shared his gratitude to all the WMD members. You can read that here. For those who are < Full Member, you won't be able to use your Steam discount while you still 'own' the Beta version (as it's the same game). SMS will remove your Beta access around a day or two before release so you can preorder it without losing access to the builds between now and then. Don't forget to make sure your PayPal account is verified (so you can receive funds) and that your PayPal email address is listed correctly in your WMD forum profile.
  21. GS6E battery seems to last 2 days with my somewhat light usage. Includes a couple of hours streaming Internet radio to my bluetooth headset. Occasional web browsing, night Edge clock, etc.
  22. Contact sport
  23. Here we go again
  24. Rumour that I'm seeing is pegging the release date ~May 8. Andy has confirmed the game has gone gold, which means discs can be created now. Andy Tudor on Twitter:
