  1. DOn't forget about those 'words'
  2. I'm curious to try something like a full stock or hardly-tuned BMW M3 - sure a Mustang might be rubbish when stock but will the ultimate driving machine also require loads of tuning to be decent in this game The stock Gallardo was pretty nice though - I assume you've seen my test drive video that i made for you :toetap: Ozz you want to tune the suspension otherwise you'll spin out all the time without having control over the slide. The accelerator pedal is nowhere near sensitive enough to drift like in TDU1 HC or say Project CARS/ Assetto Corsa (only talking pedal sensitivity here). Not sure if I can tweak a better feeling but I would expect they've given us the best settings by default.
  3. No I mentioned the Street Edition X4 and Mini were gifted (either Limited Edition or Season Pass) as separate vehicles where they are only available as that spec. I'd have to repurchase the normal Mini in game if I wanted it tuned for Dirt spec, for example. But yes I am seeing quite a few missing spec options as well. By the time I complete story mode I'll probably still be using two same cars I have currently just because there are hardly any viable options to choose from, and they are all so expensive. I will probably use remaining Perk points on making winning easier, and when they are exhausted, I spend the $20,000 CC necessary to get 10 extra perk points for maximum new car discounts - rather than actually spending the 20k on a new car.
  4. I'm sure you know you can turn subtitles off, I suspect you find it easier to read English than listen to it. I had no issues with PvP races, but do understand that there was no filter to car level. Fortunately the host had turned off collisions, and none of them knew how to corner (or brake) properly Set a good evasion time in this Chicago faction mission
  5. Saw someone use this to describe the handling of The Crew  From about car level 300+ I'm finding the handling better, so it's a lot closer to likable now.
  6. Because DVD-RW drives are terribly expensive? They're cheaper than most games over here.
  7. Physics/handling can't be all that bad if I can apply sim-racing techniques to be faster :)
  8. Nice one Nikki. If you're on PC, send me a Ubi/Steam friend request. <-- Name
  9. It's nice having an entire subforum to myself  Some rough cuts of police chases during my cruise with :gdance:, who kinda forgot about the 'help the cops' arrangement from the PC Beta, which led to the creation of 'Rules of Engagement' If you've watched the where I try to visit Mexico you should get this reference ^Watch full screen to read text chat Not wanting to do Performance Spec missions with my gifted MP4-12C or Italia I decide to see if I'm any good up against other random players in a PvP lobby. Note that they don't have to use the wheel and none of them are in Hardcore mode, and most of them have higher car levels.
  10. I know you said you liked that track but that's crazy. And Spotify haven't paid me any royalties
  11. The only thing about 2014 and Spotify that I can contribute here is T.Swiftie's collection removal.
  12. Correct, although I'm annoyed that the normal BMW Z4 can be tuned to Dirt Spec and the limited edition one can't (same with the Mini), so I would have to buy them again.
  13. Press the DPAD in the profiler which should send the wheel in each direction.
  14. I was literally saying to myself "You could've posted that comment" and Diablo almost had it word for word, I was in two minds about chasing and doing something else for a bit, but I am the one who ended that chase if I am not mistaken. Here's a test drive video just for you, Mellors - to show you what you can look forward to (if you haven't already got it). It even has crashing (which I know you like) And this saleswoman really needs to choose her words better
  15. Yeah but that car has been pretty tough to handle in every game it's been in, so... I wasn't looking forward to doing perf races in the McLaren 12C but after levelling up heaps (and earning loads of money) by doing PvP races (and kicking some serious posterior) I ended up tuning my Mustang to Perf spec and it's much better to handle, and also quicker, and doesn't have 7 gears. So plusses all round. Winning: Global PvP (PC) rank of 75. I had also Levelled up so much from PvP that I could also tune it to Raid spec.
  16. It's looking good for us in the (slightly unfair) Eagles v Snakes battle
  17. The big question is, does it play the PS1 startup sound when you turn it on? The black touch area on the controller clashing with the grey is kinda throwing me off. That and there still being no games that I want.
  18. Let's just say I won't be uploading a video titled "No Ozz, I didn't crash into you"
  19. Driving a Level ~300 Street spec '15 Mustang on snowy roads... not bad :hmmm:
  20. Or just export the map from The Crew and import it into TDU1
  21. These chases are a bit more spur of the moment when cruising together. Although sometimes a random guy might get chased and you can jump in via the map.
  22. I'm the kind of guy who prefer to chase than be chased. Sometimes when cruising with other crew members I've purposefully started a chase just so that I can get the police to chase the other person when I evade (assuming they have crashed into enough cars and property - which usually happens). Then, when the police pursue the other person, I like to help the police take down the person. That's of course only fun if the other person knows about that arrangement, so if you're also interested in online police chases, I propose the following: 1. The person(s) not being chased may choose to help the player, the police, or ignore the chase. 2. If the person(s) not being chased wish to help the police, they should: 2a: Let the pursued player pass them once safely before attempting to crash/bock them, and 2b: Signal their intent to chase by aggressive use of their horn. 3. The fleeing player will then know to also avoid you. If you've got other ideas to expand on this, let's hear them below.
  23. I was going to make a poll today, but in that case I'll give you another week to come up with something, Clarence. :nnnn:
