  1. no-I-don't.... I haven't posted a time yet
  2. Those last 3 seconds were really really really really really well spent
  3. Don't beat yourself up over it, it's only been used for 99 years or so
  4. Maybe send the images to 4chan or Anonymous and see if they can hack it on there
  5. Week 55 Theme: Shed Built Chosen by: T1M Winner: superhyper
  6. Did anyone send the last winning pic to Diablo to upload?
  7. Games sold in Australian stores are usually $75+... I've just never seen them that expensive in Steam before though.$60 tops for a brand new racing game in Steam. EBGames AU - American Steel: https://ebgames.com.au/pc-201078-The-Crew---American-Steel-Edition-PC JB Hifi AU - ANZ LE: JB Hi-Fi | The Crew ANZ Limited Edition PC
  8. The great thing about Windows is that you can download things called programs which can do things like customise the user interface and make it much more like Windows 7 if that's what you want, and you get to keep all the other under the hood improvements. The Windows 8 Start menu returns with Start8! - makes a massive difference for instance. Windows 7 is great of course but don't forget it's already ~5 years old. Also eligible students can get a discounted price on the newest version. i.e. Windows 8 Pro Upgrade - Student Offer - Microsoft Store - Free shipping. Free returns.
  9. I don't really remember the time in between not getting any DLC and getting the option of paid DLC. Given how long it takes them to make a car in The Crew (with all the modding and animations) then of course they will have stuff that comes after release. Remember TDU1 on X360 had 6 car packs and Hardcore mode, all of which were paid DLC. We just got a good deal with the megapack because we had to wait so much longer. If you plan on playing The Crew for as long as you did TDU1, then the Season Pass makes sense. That said I don't see any need to rush off and pre-order this early - I'll wait to see what deals are available and pick the best one, then add it to my Steam library that way. I've never seen a (single) game so expensive on Steam before
  10. Older NFS games (2 and 3) won't install on 64-bit Windows However newer games are starting to take advantage of 64-bit Windows. I would get another HDD and dual boot your current OS with Windows 8.1 64-bit, which is bang up to date (and in line for more free feature updates), faster than Win7, and has the latest DirectX version.
  11. @cal I'm pretty sure the main road up is tarmac but there will be other roads in the vicinity of Pikes Peak that are dirt. That said a bunch of players did say they would prefer it to be a dirt road, so who knows.
  12. Try deleting the radial.cdb file in ProgramData\Test Drive Unlimited
  13. I don't suppose you registered two account for two shots at a beta key Mellors - this email could be the second account. Previous intel was that anyone who played the earlier beta doesn't need a key, just launch the game with the same Ubi account as per before.
  14. Let me get this straight... there are posts here with a screenshot from a new trailer, a list of new cars identified in the new trailer... but no-one has actually posted the new trailer?
  15. Much the same nice graphics and drifting shots with the ponderous question "How fast do you want to go?" like all the other trailers. So, um, how fast DO you actually want to go?
  16. SMS are still working out all the details but it sounds like 'nothing will be locked away forever' - what that timeline turns out to be I don't know. I can tell you those are not core career cars. Obviously some are pointing the 'evil' finger at them but given that these guys are not experienced publishers I do get where they're coming from. The devs and us WMD always wanted a special commemorative edition, and SMS want to get an indicator of how many copies of the game they might sell (and should therefore produce) - the best way to do that is to preorder, and the best way to sell preorders is with a limited edition. So those who want the steelcase and book or want to support SMS can go and preorder/buy the LE, those who get the normal version should eventually be able to get all the cars anyway, and if you're already a WMD member, hold back for future announcements regarding how your discount/free copy works out. It's not an easy process to work out and they've got loads happening atm so we just have to be patient. They've made games before, but never self published.
  17. Well the contract to make this game gave SMS more money and car licenses to put into Project CARS... so we're pretty supportive of it. Most people are mature enough to know that there is a market for both sim and arcade racing games :) My earlier comments were generally based on my limited experience playing NFS World when it first came out.
  18. You know you can click on the Dev Posts button up the top, right? They want to be 'more than fair' with Full+ members in giving them the LE
