  1. Mods for Assetto Corsa I hope :cheeky: The social bunch here are TDU1 fans but not TDU2 fans due to physics, but we're still hanging out for the next TDU successor, which hopefully will be The Crew.
  2. Welcome Mr Potato, I mean David Extra posting features are unlocked the hour after you reach 15 or 20 posts iirc. We do notice the few members who spam 20 'thankyou' posts in mod release threads, so don't be 'that guy' :) Feel free to organise play dates with other members in the relevant game subforum or in the chatbox.
  3. You can try using a HEX editor but your chances are very slim.
  4. System Restore only backs up system and program files (depending on space/settings). The save game file is stored in Documents, for which you need to have implemented your own backup solution. If you don't have a backup then there's nothing that can be done, sorry.
  5. That's for Paypal to worry about, not you ;) The Paypal site will make it fairly obvious when you reach the page that says 'Pay now', you can cancel at any time up to that point. It's not like eBay where you commit to buying before paying for it. Even if you do pay for speshul you could technically request a refund before the payment is Accepted.
  6. Maybe setup a shared Google Calendar or something, so that everyone can add/see availability in their own timezone, and the best time(s) will easily stand out.
  7. Yeah TDU1 is pretty resilient to being copied to new folders. After installing the game I will make an entire copy of the folder as a backup. I've also made extra copies for different environment mods and can run the game exe file from any folder to run stock/autumn/winter/tropical/alpine etc.
  8. Remember they've been working on this back since 2007/8 almost as soon as they stopped supporting TDU1 with updates and DLC. They've had loads of time and are no doubt just bug-fixing and working on Q&A and distributions and preparing for marketing. Remember in a few E3 videos we saw collision bugs and the odd dropped frame so they still had a little bit of work to do. If they did indeed delay the game to acquire more car licenses and to model them then that would also account for the delay. And of course don't forget how crucial the netcode is for this type of game; it's not easy to test behind closed doors. Considering they said there is only one server per platform they had better be good ones. If you're got WMD forum access you can learn a few things this year about game development timelines. They're planning for a November release and to pull it off they're expecting the game to be feature-complete by as early as April. That's a lot of months in between just for testing, polishing, optimising, getting certified by MS and Sony, and so on. I'm thinking we might see release around May/June.
  9. nice jacket Best in-car mount I know of is sticking the suction mount to the sunroof glass. Only problem is I don't have a sunroof.
  10. I'm happy not be constantly reminded that I still can't play this game. :) I'll check the main forums & their facebook every few weeks to find new news that hasn't been posted here.
  11. Feel free to PM me or the others if you've got Q's about the new toys or other procedural stuff.

  12. Hasn't Harley or someone already posted that GIF?
  13. *exercises great restraint* Welcome and congrats on reaching extra speshul status
  14. Seriously how long did it take you to grab all those awesome pics? Top job Tim
  15. Buy a rubber duck (tduck's cousin) to star in the photo!
  16. I'm sorry did you not read my post at all Tob? :rtr:
  17. Fans Strike Again! What do you get when add kids + technology + skills + too much spare time + awesome video games? Fan trailers. But what happens when the video game in question isn't released yet, not even in beta form? Imaginative fan trailers. Have a gander at the selection of trailers below, then let us know which one is your favourite in the comments section below! Fan Trailer Remakes Hot Wheels Dramatic Soundtrack Never Drive Alone http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=ksfMkAvN-qU Grand Theft Auto IV Skinners Are Winners! Mini (BMW AG) have recently selected the top winners from around the world from the Skin a Car contest. The best of the best will soon receive communication inviting them to the Ivory Tower studios where they can see their designs created in front of their eyes. Other prizes include a limited edition of the game and a 'goodies pack'. Head to the gallery and sort by ranking to view the winners.
  18. I assume you're just referring to the blur effect on the vertical edges of the photos :)
  19. Have You Played NGC Yet? Fans are great things. They keep you cool, they add to the immersion of driving a convertible sports car in TDU1, and if you're in the business of making cool stuff they'll even help out with marketing said stuff. Youtube user jaimswallace has done exactly that on behalf of Bugbear Entertainment. Fan-made trailer http://youtu.be/E-rHoxLbKEo Pre-Alpha 2 was released on Steam on February 15, 2014 with a new Figure of 8 track and an extra car, along with some other improvements and fixes, including the free-camera mode used to create the above trailer. First Impressions If you've played any of the previous FlatOut games there is a slight feeling of 'same old' about this title at first glance. However, when you begin playing you realise a lot has been improved in terms of graphics, physics simulation, even the audio is much better than that found in some PS3 exclusive titles that shall remain unnamed. Playing with a Fanatec CSR-Elite wheel and Clubsport v1 pedals, the chosen sedan responds in a predictable and neutral manner. Force feedback responds well, if a little on the light side - I'd like to see bigger FF outputs when plowing into opponents. Clutch and H-shifter support is currently absent, which given the types of featured vehicles is disappointing, and it would be nice to see popular head-tracking API's enabled. All in all, Next Car Game is yet another 2014 racing title that's showing a lot of promise. Be sure to help out the developers (and your console friends) by purchasing this title from Steam; if Bugbear raise enough funds they will get to work on console versions. Next Car Game is currently anticipated to release on PC in Spring 2014. Hopefully with a different name.
  20. Hi there We do not permit the sharing of original files in our community. Have you considered installing TDU onto a second computer temporarily so that you can copy the files from there before uninstalling?
