  1. Advertising Secrets Exposed! If you were expecting DRIVECLUB to finally arrive on PlayStation 4 on February 28 as previously suggested, now might be a good time to re-evaluate. That is unless of course Sony's marketing strategy is... not to market the title with only 2 weeks from launch. Official PlayStation Magazine Italy reckon that DRIVECLUB will not be available until as late as June 2014. That's quite a bump back from the original November 2013 launch date. That [nonexistent] marketing strategy is however unlikely following the distribution of an instructional branding guidelines video for contest-entrants that interestingly shows us what ploys are in effect to make their game trailers look visually realistic, such as the lack of colour saturation, or purposeful introduction of imperfections and amateurism. This makes one wonder if the marketing gameplay footage we've seen thus-far is truly representative of the final product or if some of these tricks are simply done in Final Cut Pro, for example. Have a look for yourself and let us know what you think below. At least we know (from the assets video below) that the game will sound good! DRIVECLUB Videos
  2. Yeah it had been a while so I reverted to the standard tags=search keywords instead of just the bare basics (game, developer, publisher, platform)? At least if someone does search for space cows there's a chance they'll end up here :hmmm:
  3. If I posted any more often it wouldn't be "occasional" now would it? :p I'm not claiming any of those topics (even pcars) as my own so anyone can beat me to posting news if they want. With pcars though look for any dev posts on the subject that help with further accuracy since there's been a lot of mistaken assumptions made out there on other sites. Random guest articles are my thing though :dontsteal:
  4. I won't exclusively cover these so others can share them with me, I don't see the need to assign one game to one writer but it's good to mention what you would write about to see where the gaps are. Assetto Corsa, DriveClub, The Crew, pCARS, WoS, Industry, random rubbish.
  5. I wasn't the slowest motorbike filtering on the motorway today :p
  6. 'earning money illegitimately' Bit of an oxymoron there ;) Most players with lots of dosh have simply done very well at the casino /thread
  7. Noice! Yeah it's some sort of 'skate park' type zone that acts a bit like a home base but you can also mess about with friends there. Not expecting it to be massive, but then if you think of those arenas in FH where you could play Tag or Virus, etc they weren't large by any means and were fun.
  8. You mean you published it in November because that's when I asked why you hadn't published it yet? What with the Diablo81 user on the site?
  9. Hold Your Horses! We invite forum member patch to write a random article. I know... I can't believe we would do that too. We all love to swirl Martian dust at the Audi tailgating dangerously close, but those days are soon to reach an end. Animal defenders have long been claiming speed limits for those living in Mars, due to the increase of accidents between cars and Space-Cows. However, rebel parties have been calling this a hoax, claiming it’s a scheme the victimized side has come up with to revoke some rights after years of denial. MRC (Martian Rebel Community) leader Charlie Pots is now facing a 35 year jail sentence, also known as 1 year probation, for posting on his webpage a picture of a Space-Cow barbecue, which Animal rights defenders have taken personally. Pro animal activists are happy about the 100km/h speed limit soon to be enforced on motorways, however they say they’re not disarming yet, as they are aiming at a 30km/h speed limit in the near future…They are now being investigated due to suspicions of wanting a low speed limit also to convince people on buying the Toyota Prius. However, not all is bad news: Entrepreneurs are planning to build a LAN house in which you can have pizza delivered to you by roller-skating bikini dressed models, while you surf the web or enjoy a nice session of TDU2; so despite the speed limits crisis, we still have a reason to smile.
  10. Go for it, we're due for some more guest appearances. :)
