    Ian Bell, head of development at Slightly Mad Studios (the guys who helped with Shift 1 + 2), is toying with the idea of working with Sim Racers and community investors to build a new game. Rather than speculate further - read his comments directly here: http://www.nogripracing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=249418 In other news, following Shift 2's release, SMS did have plans with another unnamed company for another project, which has been canned before they started, resulting in some staff redundancies.

    The Subaru is the most popular car in its class, but I find the Stage 4 Spyker P2P is better offroad (esp with hills/bumps, etc). Subaru probably is quicker in a straight line (been ages since I played).

    Game arrived today (every time I receive an airmail envelope I ask myself 'what did I buy again???) :) Opened support ticket to get the new downloadable version.

    I agree with you meTM, but keep in mind that if we abandon the game, it's a pretty good excuse for the devs to adabndon it as well - let them make the first (definitive) move ;) How much more definitive it can get, who knows :cheeky:

    I'll be naughty and post links to 2 videos (it would be one video if not for the 15 minute limit). I wasn't in a mad dash, but clearly faster than the other cars on the road (most were quite nice in letting me past). I was also a bit lazy going uphill by keeping it in 3rd gear most of the way (the uphill part seems to go on for ages; the summit is 2km above sea level from memory).     Thanks for the recommendation ozz, but where do I attach the ButtKicker? :) I like the PlaySeat since you can add/remove a wheel and center post on that chair, which would be handy for gaming away from a desk. PCCaseGear.com has one for $549AU.

    Picking a car and commiting to it for a season puts me off as I know my car would be worse that yours, not to mention my lap times. And for some weird reason I just haven't been into playing games recently.

    Most Euro cars come like that - I've seen more than a few Golf's look like that - it's up to the dealers to remove them
