    Yes, but I have those fast Black Series SATA drives which are quick enough for me atm, and waiting for the SSD tech to plateu a bit more, when prices will drop no doubt. Who remembers how expensive the first generation flat screen TV's were compared to today, for example :)

    ^Offtopic but why does killalldude's post have scrollbars? There's a new wave of SSDs that are stuck onto a PCIe card which means faster speeds apparantly. I'm avoiding moving to SSDs because 1. I cbb reinstalling stuff and 2. Because the technology is still immproving quickly. Scrollbars gone after replying :hmmm:

    I've been getting ISE's today as well when trying to edit the original post of one of my threads (I ended up just deleting the thread and making it again). Editing all other posts seems ok. I did also try to edit the thread title though.

    No TDU mods there - mods for those sim games are a lot more popular I guess (and larger filesizes) so they need to limit it to 100mb downloads per person per day.

    Ian Bell, head of development at Slightly Mad Studios (the guys who helped with Shift 1 + 2), is toying with the idea of working with Sim Racers and community investors to build a new game. Rather than speculate further - read his comments directly here: http://www.nogripracing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=249418 In other news, following Shift 2's release, SMS did have plans with another unnamed company for another project, which has been canned before they started, resulting in some staff redundancies.

    The Subaru is the most popular car in its class, but I find the Stage 4 Spyker P2P is better offroad (esp with hills/bumps, etc). Subaru probably is quicker in a straight line (been ages since I played).

    I agree with you meTM, but keep in mind that if we abandon the game, it's a pretty good excuse for the devs to adabndon it as well - let them make the first (definitive) move ;) How much more definitive it can get, who knows :cheeky:

    I'll be naughty and post links to 2 videos (it would be one video if not for the 15 minute limit). I wasn't in a mad dash, but clearly faster than the other cars on the road (most were quite nice in letting me past). I was also a bit lazy going uphill by keeping it in 3rd gear most of the way (the uphill part seems to go on for ages; the summit is 2km above sea level from memory).
