MINT_GTR, aka Matt, a fellow RaceOnOz forumite, who I've had the pleasure of racing against once before, has always been a top GT player in Australia. He recently made it to the 2015 GT Academy world finals. An exciting race ensued, but I'm told he had mechanical problems mid-race. All of the mentors (who are racing drivers) deliberate after the race to decide on an overall winner who get's a Nismo racing contract.

What's the point of having 'Previous' and 'Next' buttons when the only page numbers that show up are the previous and next ones (and +/-10)?

MLG hosted a North American Rocket League tournament last Thursday/Friday. In case you weren't able to watch live, you'll really want to watch this replay of the grand final - it was amazing.

Most Prius drivers I see on the road drive them fast and un-economically anyway.

I'd agree with you for games like Crash Bandicoot (precision not imperative). And new TV's are probably much better than the one I bought ~6 years ago. Also if your TV has a 'Game' mode you should definitely use it, according to various developers. Thanks for the link.

So now that we no longer have general subforums for TDU1 and TDU2, where did you move the threads that used to live there? Is it worth having one 'generic' subforum in each mod shop to hold the archives? i.e. the photos, videos, cruises, forum games, tech help, tutorials, etc nvm, you've hidden it under Racing Games but without a shortcut badge on the index page. Not confusing at all. :lol: Any chance of having a 'shortcut' show up under the Mod areas on index page to these boards?

So with the recent DLC Update (Aug 13) reports are in that PS4 and PC guys can play together in private matches, using the Name and Password option. Can't use the other method as there's no way to invite Steam friends over PS4 and vice versa. So who has Rocket League? Well you know all that stuff that monitors advertise... response time (2ms), refresh rates, adaptive v-sync, 4k 60Hz, etc, etc.... most TV's don't have this. I think I may have once read that a TV had something like 40ms response times. A number of these advanced features require a recent version of DisplayPort and do not work over HDMI. Of course, a top of the line gaming monitor will cost as much as a much larger TV, so the question is, what's more important to you? If you were planning on buying a cheap monitor then maybe it won't be as bad to buy a cheap large TV. I have found it a lot harder to play on my old Gen5 LCD TV, especially when there's traffic that needs avoiding. I'd crash far more often compared to when on PC. Also I've worked with hundreds of (business-grade) Toshiba notebooks over the years and they've been pretty stable. Only their early (revolutionary) ultra-books had cooling problems, which weren't helped by the reseller putting their support sticker over a bunch of breathing holes.
