Yeah the basics were basic but that meant the racing was closer and winning was more rewarding - also led to harder and more interesting track creations - you could spend more time working out how to complete the track rather than just how to drive Will reinstall TmU one day if you want to setup a race for a bunch of us

The proverbial door on the proverbial ark has been shut. 13 months since C.A.R.S. was first revealed and now it's completely funded. Congratulations to everyone who's contributed so far, and commiserations to those who've missed out due to circumstances or laziness. We'll try to make sure it turns out to be the racing game you've always wanted. :)

Yeah Nations and TMU (Stadium) were the best. Great physics and great close racing. I often placed very well in whatever servers I joined. Probably just my opponents not being very good more than any skill on my part, but still fun. Do many still play Nations and United online?

What do you think of it - I've been meaning to play with something like that one day and see if I'm any good at creating sets of tracks that fade into each other maintaining tempo. I do all my audio editing in Sony Vegas atm.

Looks too similar to the old game: Graphics here look a lot better but I'm told this is a pre-rendered video Played Canyon a bit last year but didn't like the physics and location too much, hopefully this is better.

If you look at the spreadsheet you have a large amount of money in the 54% Costs - that includes marketing/distribution. More funding over budget just eats into profits and isn't necessary at this point. Of course there may be future funding opportunities for expansion packs or DLC but this hasn't been specified.

Leaderboard times will be reset imminently since the new seta tyre model will be the only one available going forward (Formula A and Ford Capri are the only ones somewhat optimised for it, so take it easy on the track). If anyone wants to pick a new event for next week they may do so
