  1. That's not a Reventon that crashes. If I remember my making-ofs correctly, the car that crashes is a Diablo for the movie "Redline." Haven't seen the movie, but I recall seeing a making of for it somewhere where they showed a Diablo crash (sadly using a real car with only the engine removed). I can't resist: -Leadfoot
  2. Yeah, but most people who buy cars like the SLS don't realize that. It's nice to see someone who does. :) On topic: Saw a nice 70's-era 911 Targa while biking a few days ago, as well as some 996 and 997-era Cabrios. -Leadfoot
  3. Five posts, that's gotta be a new record! Someone make note of this somewhere! -Leadfoot
  4. An HD Projector is totally worth it. We have that in our living room on an around 10-foot-wide screen (pull-down), and my dad and I both have Acer 1080p monitors (24" and 23", respectively) for our computers, which are fine for, say, watching "LOST" Blu-Rays if we don't want to set up the projector. The main "movie experience" setup (with 5.1 sound) is used for movies and the PS3. -Leadfoot
  5. Nice vid and nice drifting! -Leadfoot
  6. Think that concerns another game or the official launch of the TDU2 website along with more info? The month of secrecy's long over, so it's about time they start up official publicizing. -Leadfoot
  7. Correct me if there's info that I missed, but I have a feeling there won't be any private online sessions. :( But hey, we can hope! :) I was assuming any fuel system would be filled automatically at the start of a race. At the end of said race, when you're back to cruising, the fuel gauge would be wherever it was at the previous free-roam time. -Leadfoot
  8. http://img710.imageshack.us/i/sls003.jpg/ That's what I like to see - someone who USES their supercar, and uses it for normal human being stuff. Like getting covered in dust. :) -Leadfoot
  9. +1. I was standing right about there a few weeks ago. Guess they allow cars inside in the evening. And what a car to let inside. :) -Leadfoot
  10. Thing is, it would be an excuse for everyone to stop, chat, and rest during a cruise, and a good tactical challenge for long-distance, around-the-island race/cruises. And a good excuse for people to mock when someone forgot to fill up and has to be pushed. :cheeky: I'm still for no-option fuel consumption - remember, it's going to be a whole different game, not just a mod for TDU where some have it and some don't. :) -Leadfoot
  11. Someone likes F50s. Bet you agreed with last month's COTM! Nice pics - it's nice to see some bright photos. :) -Leadfoot
  12. Are these all around where you live, or seen on vacations? -Leadfoot
  13. Video released! Check the first post! :) -Leadfoot
  14. Wow! Where were they? -Leadfoot
  15. I like the N400/V12 Vantage wheels. -Leadfoot
  16. Ten bucks says the One-77's a club-only DLC. :cheeky: j/k This should be interesting, though. Once they release two maybe I'll have a go at remixing it. But I'll probably spend too much time gawking over it. -Leadfoot
  17. Zubi's right. And as an old mod, it only used provided textures (I think). So maybe the supercharger texture is from the chrome bumpers. -Leadfoot
  18. Yes, the PC version was delayed three times because of copyright whining (and it was always delayed on the day it was supposed to be released). The final release was in March, with the digital download coming around a week before the DVD version. The 360 version, on the other hand, was released as promised on September 5, 2006. EDIT: Whoa, my reply took longer than I thought. Guess you guys beat me to it. :cheeky: -Leadfoot
  19. Ryzza's correct, but if you're planning on playing older games, there's some that have difficulty with 64-bit Windows 7 (there's a bunch of complaints that I've seen of Battlefield 2 users having problems). Could be a coincidence, but it's something I've noticed. Of course, new things are supposed to install to the "Program Files (x86)" directory if they're for a 32-bit system (or something), which apparently means they'll work. I'm not too certain on the pros and cons of each version, but they should both work for most stuff (and my example, BF2, is a picky game to start with). Anyway, Ryzza's right - nVidia 400 series for video card. :) -Leadfoot
  20. :omg: -Leadfoot
  21. They do that. It's partly because the original car was shorter and therefore had different handling guidelines; in other words, the middle of the car is where it turns at. I've been watching them a bit. They appear to go further through the intersection, but the middle of the bus is following the same line as all other vehicles. Also, (and this is more guesswork) they are slower to correct mistakes, because the wheelbase is much longer than was originally intended. This causes sliding and slower corrections (presumably because of the middle-as-the-guide thing). Might be wrong, but I think it stands to reason (if they follow the same principles as AIPaths in Crysis). And yes, I don't have anything better to do than watch buses turn at intersections. :cheeky: -Leadfoot
  22. Cool! I like the R8 one. :) -Leadfoot
  23. Will there be a "simulation mode," as Hardcore Mode was in TDU? -Leadfoot
  24. I think the game "Crash Time III" by Synetic puts it best: :cheeky: Seriously, though, wouldn't pedestrians just be people online who are walking around outside there cars? It'll be interesting to see how TDU2 handles collisions between the two... -Leadfoot
  25. http://radikal.ru/F/i077.radikal.ru/1004/bc/aa3e97723696.jpg.html What game is that? :cheeky: Is that the Alpine mod or something else? -Leadfoot
