  1. Just found this one again. Still love it, far better than the original. :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KPZ7B_cB6LU -Leadfoot
  2. Damn! You are fast! -Leadfoot
  3. Own the game on Steam, pre-ordered. I will post my review in the TDU2 PC section when I complete it. Yeah, I know what you're thinking, but if I don't like something, I take an honest look at it and point out the exact reasons why I dislike it. Stay tuned. -Leadfoot
  4. I suspect you'll be back soon enough. Can't wait, though. :) -Leadfoot
  5. Hey, saw in your question thread and was wondering how you got your G25 to work with TDU2. The throttle's jammed open on mine. :( Sorry to bother you. -Leadfoot

  6. I like the Audi Quattro wheels! ;) -Leadfoot
  7. Love 'em! :) Is that last one tilt-shift or just a narrow depth of field? -Leadfoot
  8. Wha-HEY! I know you! Nice to see you back here. :) -Leadfoot
  9. Very nice, Milli! :) -Leadfoot
  10. Nice writeup and good tips. I feel I would appreciate it more if my wheel worked with my game. :( -Leadfoot
  11. That's another one to add to my "don't buy TDU2" list. Have a great computer? Don't buy TDU2. -Leadfoot
  12. Atari/Eden didn't even try to listen to anyone! They just built a game that they thought was what people would play - not what would be a classic. I'm not even worried about unnecessary things like cosmetics or whatever - they add to the experience, especially since we're not even required to use them. I'm talking about things like the beta, where only "the biggest TDU fans" were invited (meaning NFS fans over at the official forums :oook: ) and where Atari/Eden didn't even listen to anything that the beta testers recommended. The phyics are still crap, the game responds slowly, and the G25 doesn't work. They removed TrackIR support (don't have one, but it was a cool feature, and I considered buying one just for TDU), removed about thirty cars, and topped it off with more bugs. Atari couldn't even tell us an honest release date. We gave you four years and a delay, Atari - if you can't get the game right, at least admit it. Don't leave us waiting in the dark for half a decade and then give us this. -Leadfoot
  13. They took out the only good bits! And I'm still angry about the TDU1 patch/megapack nonsense. -Leadfoot
  14. They were from the beta, not the full game. -Leadfoot
  15. Like to play video games? Don't get TDU2. Like to spent your money well? Don't get TDU2. Like racing games? Don't get TDU2. Just got a G25 and want to use it? Don't get TDU2. Like to drive cars? Don't get TDU2. Like to move slowly around a garage using arrow keys while a character who's supposed to be talking isn't emitting sound and then try to drive with arrow keys? Then I suppose you'd like TDU2. But don't get it. The G25 doesn't work. Pedals jammed open, and I've tried every combo of settings (in/out of game) to get it to work. Even if it did work, though, I suspect everything would be undriveable anyway. I am currently preparing a post on its horridness, but that won't be ready for a few days (look for it in the TDU2 "The Game" section under PC when I finish it). TDU2 was NOT a nice try, Atari/Eden. You never listened to your community, and you ruined the one thing you had going for you, which was TDU1. That's the classic. That's the one people will be (and have been) playing for years. Not the filthy cauldron of failure that was the sequel. I'm waiting for TDU1 to come back online. See you there. -Leadfoot
  16. Hell to the yes. Thank you so much, you just made my day! :D In other news, Steam says TDU2's 98% downloaded... -Leadfoot
  17. ANOTHER east coast member! Welcome! :hi: -Leadfoot
  18. Good question about HUD's, Scoob. Just a shame about the answer. -Leadfoot
  19. Welcome to TDUC! :hi: Remember, TDU1 is a four year old game. So TDU2 will have much more people playing, at least within the next few months. TDU1, however, is a more fun and versatile game. :) -Leadfoot
  20. Anticipating a lot of whiners, I see. Fair enough. I just hope all the good modders (*cough*iLLusion*cough*) who can turn TDU1 into TDU2 return soon enough to make changes. :) And maybe we can adjust the game engine a bit more, too. Not anymore, but they did. :) -Leadfoot
  21. ROFLCOPTER'ing at your new sig. :) -Leadfoot

  22. You need a certain number of posts to be able to post on the mod request forum. Give it a few more, and then try it again. :) At the moment, I don't think a 996 Turbo has been released (except for one as a traffic car). -Leadfoot
  23. $5, huh? That's pretty low. You are correct, though - I assumed TDU2 was $60, but I just checked the console prices again and, yes, they're $50. My bad. PC's still $40, though. :cheeky: ...huh? -Leadfoot
  24. He's talking about the release date, and, yeah, it's bugging me right now. -Leadfoot
