    First things first, drifting is far easier in Hardcore mode. :) Aside from that, different cars have different handling preferences. But for most, the trick is to constantly adjust the steering. Whether you're using a keyboard or wheel, don't be afraid to turn into the drift if you feel it sliding out. A slide should work like the way celestial orbit does. A satellite circles a planet because it's constantly "falling." When you're drifting, you should be constantly "spinning," so don't be afraid to turn more into the drift. Are you using a wheel or keyboard (or gamepad)? -Leadfoot

    Helmets aren't even in the game yet. Wait for the motorcycle DLC, then see what happens. :) As I recall from TDU1, though, the motorcycle clothing was separate from the car clothing, and you couldn't switch between (until the community patch). -Leadfoot
