You didn't post in the wrong section, it's just that the users of TDU:C abused the privilege of commenting on WIP mods, and we can't post there. It's the right section for showing progress, just not for getting feedback. Not your fault at all. :) As far as I know about the WAV, it doesn't have to be a certain type (admittedly, I'm not too familiar with audio formats, but I've never had to do anything funky with types of encoding formats). Hopefully someone with more experience can help you. :( Perhaps Djey or an experienced sound modder (such as fifomaniak). -Leadfoot

Hey. You said you wanted help with your sound modding. It seems like a smart move posting it in the WIP section, but, unfortunately, the common TDU:C user cannot post a reply there. :( I'd recommend posting your request in the general "Mod Shop" area. As for a possible answer to your question, I think you can just shorten the sound file. No need to use complex workarounds - just a shorter file. Course, this could lead to some problems, namely the end of the shortened file not aligning to the beginning, causing a "snap" to the beginning. But this is normally not a problem, especially with the car accelerating and changing revs. Hope that helps! -Leadfoot
