    Trevor is very weird, but he's also the one who makes me laugh the most. He's psychotic, but that's what makes him the standout character for me. Franklin and Michael are decent enough characters, but nothing really stands out about them. It's almost a "seen it all before" type of thing with those two. I managed to make Franklin and Trevor have a run in earlier by guiding Trevor to Franklin's last location (I'd just switched between the two anyway) and he was still there. I switched to Franklin and started ramming Trevor's car as he drove around the block a couple of times before Trevor stopped at traffic lights, got out and shouted "What the actual ____ is going on here!" and pulled out an AK and shot Franklin to death :p

    A couple of photos I managed to take using the in-game phone and actually get uploaded to the SocialClub website. Took some effort getting something to upload!     Mine came at 9:20AM this morning. Only just pulled myself away from it now after doing a decent number of missions and then hooning around in between. There's probably an easy way up Mt. Chiliad, but I've been trail-blazing my own path up there which isn't as easy as you'd think. Started off thinking it would be easy so I took a beat up old car and probably only got half way before it would go no further. Took a Range Rover lookalike and got to the top, threw it off the top and ended up at the bottom still running, but with non-functioning steering. Just took a 'Dodge' truck with a trailer up there as well, almost made it to the bottom pretty much intact despite throwing it off the top aimlessly, but then it flipped and exploded 100 yards from the road at the bottom :(

    That's going to be a really long wait as I have zero plans to buy a next generation console. So I'd have to wait another six months to a year :eek: Despite the boaty-ness I really enjoyed GTA IVs vehicle handling as well as the damage model. The handling was over the top, but I still enjoyed it, I enjoyed it more because I really liked the way it played while I read person after person complaining about it on the internet and how they couldn't drive properly :p I actually felt at home with IVs handling characteristics.

    Despite really wanting to play the game, I think I'll miss having this to look forward to after the months and months of waiting.

    There's a live stream of it, think it's been up the last couple of days on and off. Just watched it a bit quickly just now, won't go into any detail and that's the last I look at it until I hopefully actually get the game myself Monday or Tuesday. EDIT: Stream now taken down by Rockstar, fair play they're good at getting pre-release gameplay removed :p

    It's not serious for me until I see the other side of what will no doubt be another rubbish week at work. At least I have a proper goal to strive for to get to the end of this one. I might also go and look at a BMW if it's still for sale at the end of the week, so there's that as well :p

    I think I managed to pre-order it before ShopTo bumped the price up, so I'm happy with what I paid. I actually trust ShopTo to get it here on release day if not before, I read Amazon has some special delivery for pre-ordered games and release day delivery. I like Amazon as well, but I'll stick with ShopTo now.

    I received the same email. Don't know why, but I expected it to be an email giving bad news like they aren't getting any copies or something, lol. This time next week it'll be plain sailing. It'll also be my birthday, but that's no-where near as important.

    Gtaforums is somewhere you don't want to go if you're just looking for actual facts rather than rumours, although I am impressed with how they've been mapping locations, I'm interested to see just how right (or wrong) they've got it. All I know is it's going to be a Hellish three weeks. It feels like it's been a month since I complained how long August seemed to be taking to pass by, but that was only last week :p Still, glad I've got the week off work anyway. Just got to hope ShopTo doesn't let me down and get's it to me on release day if not before.

    Moonstone, yeah! A remap may be on the cards for mine once I've got a new driveshaft and serviced it. New Sachs suspension on the front now too.

    I don't think it'll be long now until my mum switches from MK6 to MK7. She's just waiting for the new reg (63) to come out to see if VW can do any deals on a 6 month old one for her. I test drove a Golf GT TDI 150 a couple of weeks ago, I forgot to try out the adaptive cruise control malarky though :(

    I spent some money as a decent deal came up.     Two days off work. Took the last shock/spring/top mount to a garage so they can put it together on a proper machine instead of me risking any more accidents with manual spring compressors, so hopefully I can get the strut back on the car today and test it all out before I go back to work on Wednesday. My dad bought another car yesterday, I wish he'd sell one that he already has before buying another one. This time it's a 2009 Citroen C4 Grand Picasso VTR+ which he got for half the price of the rest listed on the internet because it's done, wait for it... 175,000 miles. Stop chuckling back there! I know I had a job to :p

    Tried having a go at changing the front shocks/springs/mounts on my car today with the help of my dad and a family mechanic. Managed to get the passenger side sorted, driver's side really did not want to be helpful. Let's just say the spring compressors slipped and almost took out quite a few hands amongst other things. So I'm taking it to a garage to get the strut made up so I don't have to bother with it. Luckily I've got Monday and Tuesday off work.

    I've seen it said elsewhere, but I fully agree with what other people have said; Other game developers really need to start pulling their head out of the sand, this blows everything else released this year and before out of the water completely. So glad I booked a week off for the release of this game now :D
