A television anime adaptation of MinatoSoft's Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai! adult "warrior maiden romance adventure game" has been green-lit. Keitaro Motonaga (Katanagatari, School Days) is directing the anime at the studio Raruke. Katsuhiko Takayama (Soredemo Machi wa Mawatteiru) writing and supervising the scripts, while Mayumi Watanabe (Freezing, Yoshinaga-san'chi no Gargoyle) is designing the characters and overseeing the animation process.

The slapstick comedy story of the original game is set in a modern-day school and features a boy named Yamato Nanoe who is surrounded by all-warrior female cast. The game shipped in Japan on August 28, 2009.
