Right now I have a Geforce 8400 GS. I'm thinking about getting the Geforce 9400 GT, so would that one be good? And what other graphics cards would you recommend? It has to fit in a pci express x16 port. Thanks

Well games evolve quickly so I suggest the best card you can find for a reasonable price. I'm not an expert on this as my 8400GS is dying because I overclocked it xD. Don't overclock....

Really it will all depend on what you currently have, and how compatable it will be. That's what you need to discover before you think of buying something.

Thanks, everyone:)

1. I was thinking of paying around $60.

2. Thanks, andrew1320, but it looked good but a little pricey.

3. My computer specs are:

OS: Windows Vista 32 bit

Processor: CPU 3.46GHz

Ram:2GB

These are the best ones I found near the 60$ price:

The 9600GT is better than the HD4670. And as mentioned we need to know what power supply you got as you might have to buy a new one. And with the 9600GT you need to have a 6-pin power cable in the power supply, or you can get this kind of adapter which requires 2 of those 4-pin molex cables. (I don't know if that card has the adapter with it).

Well, it seems like the card I have now requires 300 watts. And is there much of a difference between the 9400gt and the 9600gt? Because I can find the 9400gt at $70 where I want to get mine but the 9600gt at $110.

Alright, it seems like everyone thinks the 9600gt is the best, so maybe I'll get that one;)

That's weird, my signature is all of the sudden working:confused:

I have a dual (2) NX8800GT MSI w/copper cooling.

So far no problems, works like a charm.

Pull out Crysis on high settings 1680x1050 w/X2 aa.

Considered the best G-card under the $300.00 range (for now).

I would recommend getting either the 8800's or the 9800's.

Everything in between didn't work out for me at all. But than again, thats just me. ;)

9400 will do pretty good..

but i preferred a 9600GT or ATI 4850...

but presently i used a Dell HD 2400Pro

pretty suck.. but at least i still can play TDU pretty good.. abut 18-30 fps @ 800x600 high/medium quality & HDR is off....

my spec:

Pentium D 925(3.0Ghz)

VenomRX 2x2GB PC 6400

BIOSTAR P965

junkie PSU

WDC 80GB SATA2

with that spec i still can reach top speed...

The last two didn't show...

Maybe I'll buy the 9600 GT, although it was more expensive than the 9400 by $50

Best bang for your buck is a GTX260 core 216 from NVidia. I only run one of them and I get 200fps with full settings on 1920x1200 resolution. They are selling for real cheap nowadays.
