Hey Grin,

 

Nice model! I've been trying to setup full Formula 1 physics using this model but there is an 'issue'. Basically it seems that there is an RPM limit somehow hard-coded in the model itself! I know it seems crazy, but using your F1 model, if I set the RPM to 18000 it tops out at 9054 RPM. If I change the model file only to 'default.bnk', then the RPMs top out at 18000!!

 

I'm using the Mclaren F1 GTR HUD / Gauges (digital RPMs) to more easily monitor so it's not an issue with the RPM readout. It also affects performance as well.

 

Do you have any idea why this might be happening!?

Two choices.....

 

1. Use TDUPE to switch which HUD the mod uses.

 

2. Manually switch out to a digital HUD.
