The reason is simple, you have a spare for the next time one of them inevitably breaks.

How do you know? Mine took 9 or 10 days including weekends.

I now hate the damn thing. Might just flog it on eBay as spares or repairs seeing as it still works 25% of the time.

Mine was 17 days first time, then 6 days second time. So there really is no guessing how long it'll take.

I had the E-74 error once and had to pay £60 as the warrenty only lasts for 1year with any problem apart from red ring of death which is 3 years

My advice fix it yourself, just cost Microsoft fix it doesn't mean it wont happen again.

I was going to say if your in Australia (Which you aint) Your 360 is less likely to break again. Got mine fixed 3? years ago and never broke down since..

That's kinda funny because I never cleaned my 360 when I first got it and it lasted 4 days short of a year. After the repair I cleaned it weekly and it lasted 7 months. lol.

welcome aboard, when mine broke i sent it off and got a refurbed one sent back but it only took about 5 days and that includes saturday and sunday so youll have it back in no time

FINAL UPDATE My Xbox 360 is now fixed and back in my home. :thumbsup:

 

It's been a lonely 21 days but I'm happy I have it back. :)
