I need new Graphics drivers

Hey guys, do you know where I can Download the latest Graphic Drivers for my Graphics Card? I have an ASUS EAH3870 TOP.

From ATI/AMD. It's easy enough to find, or you could use the Disc that should be in the box.

Well I tried the disk and now my colour and graphics along wih my screen resoultion all look like crap, should I uninstall the whole grapihcs card or is there a way to fix this? BTW it won't let me adjust everythnig I listed above.

I bet you didn't uninstall the old drivers did you?

should put in the cd before installing gfx card, thats what i did with mine when i got a new 1 (8500gt tough)

LOL I think so... LOL i'm not very computer smart. Any chance you know how to fix it?

The easy way would be to reformat your computer and install the operating system again. Or get someone to sort it out for you, who knows what they are doing.

You should get a whole list of places but yes Asus.com would be the best place to look first

 

Or you could

 

go into system properties and then add remove programs and remove the drivers that you have already???

 

I take it they are ATI drivers go here......

Google ASUS, click SUPPORT, click drivers link. There will be three dropdowns to select from:

 

Select Product>graphics card.

 

Select Series>ATI

 

Selct Model>EAH3870

 

This will take you to a new screen where you will enter an OS. Find the latest driver and DL (Save it).

 

Go to Control Panel and remove your current driver. Reboot and close the window app that appears that says it found new hardware when you reboot.

 

Go to where your new driver is * and double click it to install.

 

 

* I created a DOWNLOAD folder under My Documents where I put everything I DL into a subfolder using the name of what I DL - easy to find that way.

EDIT: oh yeah! Do you know your current version? Do you run CCC (Catalyst)? If so, run Catalyst and it will tell you the version. If not, I use PC Wizard (free DL). It will definitely tell you, and it also gives you alot of other vital info the OS just doesn't tell you (like tempteratures!).
