Program to record

Hello. I'm posting this here because i think it fits right but it doesn't please move it.

I was wondering if anyone knows any other program to record beside fraps.

I have full version but a 2 min vid it's about 2gb... thats too much. i am looking for a program that does the same but the videos are like 2 mins 20mb or something like that.

XFire's quite good. Not sure on the size, but I think its quite a small size.

You just need a program to compress the videos. The videos that come out of fraps aren't compressed at all, which is why they take up such space.

However, 2 mins 20 MB is very optimistic.

I prefer Fraps, but GameCam offers compression on the fly if I'm not mistaken.

However, compressing on the fly requires a much faster PC capable of very high FPS. It's easier and cheaper to increase your HDD space than it is to upgrade everything else.

I have a 2TB drive that only stores Recorded TV and Fraps footage (and it's nearly full, need to sort through it and delete out-takes).
