u dont need list, is just write the name..

but in TDPE you cannot change the car maker. example: in the list there is bugatti, but the game crashes.

Have a look at my thread here from post 6 down... i had a similar issue. i wanted to change some names manually so i had to do it in TDUPE but the cars wouldnt load into modding tools, same error as you had" unable to load requested vehicle" and also made the game crash. yurns out i hadnt installed the community patch when installing TDUPE. when i installed that, it retet my database for me ( so i lost all my custom names ) but was then able to go back and re-add them all and they work in tdupe, tdumt and in tdu itself..
