No sound on Fraps?

Hey guys, I recently downloaded the trial version of Fraps and I've made a few clips, but now on my latest clip I have no sound(But the record sound option is checked) I have no idea what is going on and I'd like some help as i'd like to make some stuff and no sound isn't good to me.. So you have had sound before? :confused: Check that none of the settings are changed, and that the correct sound input is chosen.

Now that you mention it, I've had the same problem as well. Except that in my case, there was either very little sound or no sound at all, right from the beginning. Same thing when I tried using Xfire to record videos. What audio input option do you guys use?

Yes, Fraps can be a bit tempramental sometimes but what I do is search the problem up on google and I usually find some sort of solution. It's usually different so theres no clear "fix".

In your control panel go into sound options and make sure the mic is set to "stero mix" or something similar this should fix the problem.

 

Fraps records from the default recording device set by the control panel.

I've had the problem in the past, I just downloaded a different version of Fraps. I think I'm running v2.9.8 atm
