Textures Question

Taillight at the centre of the car (V12 vantage) is surrounded by a white boundary on my edited version (grey ones), but not using the original red ones. Havent edited the area that is involved, but anyone know how to edit the texture to make those areas invisible again?

to edit the texture use DTXbmp and photoshop maybe. picture please. if you want to make any part of the texture invisible make a alpha channel. it will be tricky, but thats the way.

Picture attached. While we are on textures, does anyone know how to make the multicoloured texture for the name on the back. Have added V12 onto the front of the standard texture, but you need the other texture to make it work do you not?

you need alpha channel. in dxtbmp make a channel.

With the name I am trying to add V12 to the start, but not quite sure how to do it. I can edit the first image, but not the second one, and not sure whether I need alphas etc on the images...

the second image is a bump map, its used to add 3d feeling to the texture.
