Denmark is comming!

Hello everybody.

I'm an older guy that has been playing TDU since it came out, but I has just the other day found this forum, so here I am. I have tried the 1.68a patch, and I really love it.

I use cargames a lot, but I mostly like sims like TDU, Racegames from SimBin, aso. The newest NFS Shift is also quite good, but I don't like to play arcarde games (with or without cars).

 

I am REALLY looking forward to TDU2 and to the upcomming Formula one game. I have in fact driven a real Formula 1 car twice at Anderstorp Raceway in Sweden. If you are interested I can write a lot more of this :thumbsup:, as these 2 drives is the biggest things that has happen to me.

 

Here at last, I want to apologize for my English, as I'm from Denmark, English is not my first language, so I really hope I don't insults anyone by using the wrong words.

Than you, everyone. I will try and keep my English as good as I can.

The F1 cars I drove was first in 2001. I got this tour from my wife as a birthday present. This was in Christian Fittipaldi's Arrows from 1994.

The second time was in 2003, and this one was Damon Hill's Jordan from 1998.

The Jordan I drove as the first member of the "party" for this day, and I saw the owner of the car do the warmup of tires and brakes.

He told me, that this Jordan can do 0-200 km/t (0-120 mph) and down to 0 again in about 7,5 second. 0-200 takes around 5 second and 200-0 around 2,5 second. The really big experince with this car is not it's fantastic acceleration, but when you drive 300 km/t and hit the brakes ... That's amazing (you can taste your breakfast). And for us normal drivers, this car is so good in a turn (15° bank called "the carousel") that you don't drive as fast as the car can do it, but only as fast as you can take the pain in your stomac because of the g-force.
