I don't mind the head movement too much. Need to start installing some mods, but I just looked at how to unpack the game and :eek: I'll leave it for now haha.

Finally bought myself Assetto Corsa. I had some doubts but all of them disappeared when I played multiplayer with some of my friends :). Above You can see the first MP video I've recorded. I've never really played any simulators so I'm pretty much a newbie :D.

Besides that stupid booking system it's quite simple actually ;d. Although it's getting tougher when you have to play with people that actually know how properly setup a car. Well... I don't :D

Off-track penalty system is so annoying/overbearing in AC as well

Yes You're right. But a friend of mine figured out how to turn off this penalty system in MP races, it needs to be changed somewhere in the server settings. But I don't really know where :P

You can turn it off in the server launcher under the rules section. Change "allowedTyresOut" from 2 to 4 ;)

 

Will have to set up a meet sometime so everyone can join me and Timmeh for some amazing crashu action :D

To be honest it was more of a who could do the most pirouettes on the grass competition instead of doing laps around the track :lol:

And I reinstalled Split Second - a very difficult and unique arcade racing game that's worth playing if you haven't already.

Part 2 of Split Second - doing 'Season' (career) races here which are much harder. (Seriously, it took me an hour to win those first two races). Disclaimer, there is a plane crash near the end of the video.

Oh cool, Split Second always looked cool, but Blur came out at a similar time and I chose Blur over S/S for some reason, probably because it had licensed cars

Yeah more people seemed to get Blur, I remember playing that online with a few but never played SS online. Don't think you can anymore (unless I'm missing a patch).
