Another one from Autocar, this time, which do you think will be the fastest over a single lap on the Donington short (National) circuit, on a dry sunny day?

 

These are the contenders:

Wow, all of you seem to be putting a lot of faith in the Elise's weeny 1.6L engine...

 

It's also very very light and can probably carry more speed around the corners than most of the other cars. Even the base 08 model can do 0-62 in under 5 seconds and go on over 140mph.

 

I know some of the other cars can do about 200 but they will get no where near that at Donington.

The Elise and Evora will more than likely pull away from most of the other cars on those corners and be ahead of them by the time they gt to the backstraight. And then again on the sharper corners if they are using the full track layout.

 

But anyway. I'm not saying that's fact, just my opinion. If I'm still allowed one. :rolleyes:
