Megapack-problem

Hi. I just reinstalled tdu due some Mods. When i installed the game again, then installing megapack after, i couldnt see any megapack cars ingame. It ways that megapack is installed, but i cant see the cars......help me out guys....

Did you activate the megapack?

Yes, i did it. i pasted the megapacks key but didnt change.... i cant see the cars ingame

You have to actually activate it, rather than install with the key.

 

Click on "ActivateAddon.exe" in your TDU Directory. Then try it again. If that doesn't work, uninstall both the TDU Megapack and TDU, then reinstall just TDU. Once TDU's ran for the first time, install the megapack and activate it, then run TDU again.

 

Once you've verified that the megapack works, mod 'till your heart is content!

 

EDIT: Another way to do it is to change the TDU version key in the Registry (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Atari\TDU\)

 

Change it to "Patch 1.66A" (IE remove the " + Bonus Pack")

Use the megapack installer that you downloaded. (I think it's called the bonus pack)

 

The HKEY_LOCAL xxx is in the registy. I'd suggest you read up on it to make sure you understand that if you do something wrong, it could potentially screw up your system.

Will try for the last time now. if it wont work ill stop with that megapack and just play the game how i do before everything. Megapack wasnt that exciting... i just drive me412 as A class car and its only that...

 

BTW; i have never in my life played a game AS problematical as Tdu.. but still I LOVE IT! hehe

I got a new problem now. i dont know if its the tdu servers but, now i cant connect. it says; cannot connect to tdu server please check your network connection. it worked fine in 2years......

 

NO MORE megapack.. only problems!

That might just be down to Atari changing their servers over for the TDU2 launch. (maybe)

 

Either that or you've used up all of your TDU activations.
