TDU2: @organiczero What kind of joystick are we talking about here?

Well I certainly hope it's the kind that connects to a computer for gaming use

yeah its that kind :P

I have a PS2 gamepad/joystick that i wired to usb with a help of a friend, it's old i would say about 5 to 6 years in use already. Windows recognizes it as generic usb joystick, and most of the games let e use it without problems. I use it because i'm used to it. Had a Logitech one for few months but something always felt wrong while using it. Ended up selling it to a friend and returning to my trusty companion.

But lately, some of the latest games don't accept it, giving me as choice the xb360 pad as the only possible choice. Since TDU1 worked with this pad i had, i was wondering if TDU2 would as well... or if i would have to fork over and get a new pad for me.

I hope he answers that.

edit: forgot to add, I'm asking this since it pretty much cover any joystick that windows label as "generic", and uses windows own drivers to work.

Lowered Sensitivity+tdu2=VERY unsure!

And joysticks for SMOOTH cruising almost dictates it (range suffers).

Yes..Linearity helps but the more used, the worse it is.

(played Tdu1 mostly that way)

Ps

If your buying a new joystick .. I recommend the Saitek cyborg evo(+graphite powder=BEST). It has a good sens and importantly holds a good vertical middle line=steering straight.

(I did buy Thrustmaster T.16000M for it's FASCINATING sens and solid centering, but it had BAD vertical middle line=HARD to go straight relaxed).
