If anyone with good Internet wants to host the session on the day, feel free to volunteer. Having one Aussie host a session for lots of Europeans generally doesn't work out too well (lag).

I'll see if I can get the server to work, certainly no guarantees though, as I have trouble with my router refusing to open ports

EDIT: It seems to be working, if someone wants to try to connect, that'd be cool as no one who has the game is on MSN at the moment :P Just have it up with BRNO and WTCC 06 for now, so I don't think it'd need mods/expansions to test it. And I'm just on break from work, so There may not be anyone on, but server will still be up, just type a message saying whether it works and I'll see it in the console if I'm not there

Works, but why did you have Automatic transmission permitted. You both disappeared in my third lap as well.

Just remember to install the addon tracks in both your game and the Dedicated server folders. The dedicated server has different ports that need forwarding too I think.

Just left most things default to test, mind PMing me all the specific settings I should use for the actual tourney?

(Including cars/stupid things that I should know but probably won't)

Also, that would be 4:45 AM EST, right? Wanna make sure I have the time right :P

Having troubles with it now... Installed the addon tracks, and now when I start it it just keeps trying to reload the track over and over, like 10-20 times a second. Maybe Ryzza should run it after all :(

Ran a 6 player session today with no reports of lag, so maybe it'll be ok.

So, after I finally worked out that my version of the Joux track was older than everyone else's, we finally got racing. Had some great races, a couple of crashes :evil:, but enjoyed it nonetheless:

1) Learn your way around O'ahu beter

Didnt i win @ Imola giving me 10 points?? (I know we had that random though)

Will have to organize more and get it played on a private server so we don't have randoms in every other race :P Was excellent fun though :)

You did win Imola but as stated in game I compensated the points because of the random, plus you still would've ended up with the bronze anyway.
