NFS and Forza Horizon - End of October (2012)

2 free roam driving games coming out, one with authentic handling, and one with intense arcade action.

 

NFS MW comes out October 20, and Forza Horizon on October 23. So for X360 owners, what are you buying first? What do you think you will be playing more often as November approaches?

 

 

 

I will probably pre-order FH, and while I expect NFS MW to be fun online (in the same way BP was) I'll probably put it off for a little while OR buy it cheap on eBay in which case delivery from Hong Kong or the UK will take a week or two. Usually I'll always buy games on PC as first preference but in this instance I might just get MW on Xbox considering how PC players got ripped off with missing DLC in both BP (Big Surf Island) and HP 2010. I'll still be waiting for reviews to come through first, though.

I didn't even know there was a new NFS out. After the NFS HP I gave up on the series. Definately going to have a go at Forza Horizon though, looks brilliant

Most definitely I'll be pre ordering the LCE of Forza Horizon.

Not bother by yet another NFS... would much rather Criterion would make a sequal to BP.

Well I've ordered both, so it looks like I'll be getting MW first :p

 

EDIT: I ordered MW on pc, but I'll probably end up getting it on X360 aswell depending on how many of my friends get it. :mhmm:

Not trying another NFS.. They've been bad since UG2. Most Wanted is a slight exception as it was quite good but I WILL NOT be getting the new NFS.

 

All Horizon for me and even with this one, I'm a bit skeptical.

I'll be preordering both, MW looks really promising when it comes to multiplayer and Horizon will most likely be the new TDU so that's an instant preorder as well :p

I really, really like FH and I might buy a used Xbox with Forza in the future when they will be affordable for me. I have money for Xbox now, but I'd rather spend them on detailing products. :hmmm:

I'll probably play Most Wanted more at first. Mainly because it comes out a few days before and also because it will have a storyline/finishing point more so than Horizon. So if I started playing Horizon before I finished Most Wanted, I'd most likely never get around to completing MW's SP game.

 

Plus I hate switching between different games, if I start a game I must finish it before moving onto another. And once again, because MW comes out first, I'll already be a fair way into the story before I get Horizon. So I'll complete MW first before getting too involved with H.

Maybe I should pretend to be young as well and take a week's leave from work to play through a game in a couple of days :mhmm: But then again I also keep telling myself I should grow up :D
