iGP TurboDuck league

 

Essentially this is a free online F1 type racing management game. The guys at ISR love it and it looks like it could be a bit of fun for a bunch of us since you only need a web browser and some car knowlwdge to play :)

 

 

I've created the TurboDuck league and the password for you all to join is: ihavenoteeth :p

 

Sign up for free and create a 2-car team and join the league and post here once you're done. Watch the

We go racing every Sunday beginning from the 16th of December so you have one week to sign up and start setting up your team and drivers and cars. You can either watch live timing while racing or you can set up your strategy in advance and hope things go to plan. Races use realtime real life weather so be sure to check the forecasts.

There's also a B league that's optional (as it would require you to create a second account, team, driver, etc) that has races 4 times per week with 2 cars per team enabled. First race is in one week on Monday 11 Feb, with races also on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. Doesn't matter if you can't make all of them since it's the main series on Sunday that counts :)

Halfway through the race and I'm winning with a 15.3 second lead, pyrre is in 2nd, and Reaper is 5th (last) and falling further back. Exciting stuff.

Ah you were 1.3 seconds behind me when I came out of the pits for the second time. Brave choice with only 1 pitstop - but you did well comming 2nd.

I was catching up quite fast at the end :p Bit too much too late. Looking back i made that early pit stop a few laps too early...

 

Came last with a 1 stop and SP33D came 3rd with a 3 stop aha!

That was the initial plan but it wouldn't let me create a 2-driver championship without buying the full version, and I didn't know how many people would join. If we get 16 people playing by the end of this Season and everyone wants to go again I'll buy it and make Season 2 a 2-driver affair.

I may have forgotten to check my fuel strategy last race, so my 2 stops turned in to 3 when I ran out of fuel :oops:

It's on Sunday, but assuming you've done nothing, there's more to do than just pick a driver, especially if you want to find the best staff that's currently not hired by anyone.
