[PS3] casino problems.

Guys, any of you know of this problem?

 

 

I bought TDU2 on amazon, just realised that the game came from the US, I live in UK. The game works fine, but I have just downloaded a Casino pack for TDU2 but every time I try to enter casino it says: No offer available at the moment, please come back later.

 

 

Every single time it's the same thing. Is that a problem everyone is having? Is this happening because I bought a copy from the US and try to lay it in UK?

 

Tried searching the forum but couldn't find what I was looking for.

Hey there, I don't know if the regional difference would cause a problem though it could do. However what is more than likely is that the Casino server is probably down as I have seen a number of people posting around about PC and PS3 issues recently.

From what I could see from people the PS3 Casino server is as far as I know up at the moment so it may be worth checking out the official Support channels via the Atari site and see what they say.

That computer's not old enough for something Atari would shell out for, and their employee benefits wouldn't cover glasses nor pay enough to have a clothed worker. 2/10, would not relate to Atari.

It is the fact you got a US copy & a UK download.

 

I had the problem with NFS pro-Street, where my copy was a US disk, and when I got the DLC was from the UK/EU PStore , which meant the two would't work with each other. PS3 games are universal on Disk, but DLC is't and is determined by the code on the side of the case for games.

 

E.G TDU2's is BLES00884...where the US one will be BLUS or somthing.

 

Hope it's of use to you, and sorry to hear you'll have to get a UK copy to use the DLC.

Thank you. Yeah it looks like that is the problem. Annoying because the person I bought it off, is a UK selller on eBay, the art cover box was a European version too, yeat, the game was posted from US and came with a us cover art, and it says BLUS on it, indeed :( ok, thank you. Too bad I can't find the game in any UK shops :/

Could always try and get a refund and return it, Then look for a UK copy? Better than having two copy's and being out of pocket.

 

Also while talking about US/UK copys, your save file is for the copy you have and can't be used on the other, so on the US copy it wont you wont be able to re-use what you've got saved on a UK copy.

I had a quick search to see if I could find some where selling the PS3 version of TDU2 cheaply and there is one one on Play.com doing so for £10.99 if you want it.

umm that's not cheap. Wasn't it on Steam for $6 at one point?
