Hey Lws, welcome to the board, thanks for signing up, my mum's from Wales and all her family is down there but not many actually speak Welsh, it's always good seeing the signs for places though, it's like where's the vowels gone?!

yeah, i am at school, so im glad the filters arent onto this site yet.

 

and yeah, no vowels, we use 'y' alot instead. amputation of the tounge is pretty necassary for learning the welsh language :p

 

also, germany and wales are 2 of the few european countries that refer to the country as the 'fatherland' (the welsh national anthem's name translates to 'land of my fathers')
