I've heard that Jason Bright from Aussie V8 Supercars is racing a Ferrari there (he only just finished a race in Darwin last Sunday)

this might be the last year audi dominates the field. Porsche joins LMP1 next year.

Planning to stay up the full race to watch this. Just need to find money for a steady supply of pretzels, chips, burgers, and monsters. This is the first year I've known the date of the race any time before the following Monday :D

I like safety car periods because it usually means big crashes with lots of replays. Plus they're a good toilet stop, last year when I went to take a piss I was gone for like 2 minutes and I missed the 458/Audi crash

The commentators on Czech Eurosport said that Toyotas use 6 Liters per lap, while Audis 6 Liters. Since Toyotas also have a 60 L fuel tank (2 L more than Audi), I think this will be pretty hard for Audi as they will have to make 5-6 mins on Toyota per lap.

well that was the case last year as well but lets not forget, lemans is about reliability and pit experience too.
