Steam GUI on TDU2 Unpacked?

Hey guys. Just as the title says, I'm wondering if it's possible to have the unpacked version of Test Drive Unlimited 2 run with the Steam GUI on top. I have the Universal Launcher set to launch from Steam, but that does nothing. I can't access the menu that's usually accessed through Shft+Tab. I've also tried having the .bat be what Steam starts, but Steam won't launch a .bat. Any tips or does anyone know if it's even possible?

I think it was mentioned a couple of times in the "how to unpack..."-thread. You can't unpack a steamversion or run an unpacked version via steam.

 

You can only find someone who has a retailversion, install with this source and use your legit gamekey from steam. Then unpack this one.
