Adding turbo sound to a non turbo sound ??

so im not that good with modding....

i know how to install mods manualy and stuff but making one is something that ill never understand :P

so back to my question

 

How do i add a turbo sound to a car sound that hasnt got a turbo?

 

i hope someone can help me with it :)

:hmmm: I imagine you add a sort of continuous Air sound over the sample. For a BOV sound, you have to ad it somewhere in the off sample, don't know exactly where for best results.

 

Don't know if you know that already but samples are inside an audio Bnk (Any_car_audio.bnk). You've got 8 samples: Startup, Idle, Off_low, Off_mid, Off_High , On_low, On_Mid, On_High.

 

"On" samples are for when you accelerate. Off is when your foot is out of the pedal.

Low, Mid and High are the RPMs.

yeah i want the air kind of sound but also the blow off

Tob is right :-) you put the "whine turbo" on the "on" samples and adapt the pitch at the pitch sample (i already made it for my last version of TDI sound mod, if anyone want it i will upload it soon)
