Question regarding game installation folder after unpacking

I never unpacked the game yet as I'am currently trying to finish it first, but i have a question. After unpacking you have 2 folders, the original folder where you installed your game and the folder with the unpacked game. I would like to know if I can delete the original game installation folder after unpacking or do I have to keep it?

I've kept it. Didn't test if it works without it but I keep it for now.

You can delete it if youre not sure just cut it out to different folder or change its name youll only need those files in cse of an update but that wont happen

Thanks guys :) I was just asking because I run all the games from an individual partition of the HDD to minimize the fragmentation issues. I'm running it in a low spec 2010 laptop (Core 2 Duo 2.2 Ghz, Radeon HD4570 512BM, 4GB DDR3 RAM), so to optimize the gaming experience I didn't want a 16GB folder (TDU2 installation folder) slowing it down except if it was needed. Anyway, I have a backup of the folder in my external HDD anyway, so no worries ;)
