I've done videos a bit like this before you know, try google video, and search for "Top gear imitation: duel at prescott hill"

But now that you've mentioned it, I think it wouldn't be a bad idea if you take the director spot, considering you have previous experience making videos.

well the problem is that TDU doesnt give you too much camera options so filming woukld be hard and not fun at all

I think it would be good to have more cars filming like camera crews. Have it on a view that doesn't show the filming car at all and fim the other 3 driving past, for example.

Oh, and producer is maybe a bit too much, also because online cars lags for me, it's usually only the car I click to join that's smooth. So it would look appaling on video. Hopeing the patch will fix that... Though, I do have considered doing this video before.

There is a way to hide the HUD, Albama told me you can go to options and turn off speedometer and so on. And then select the view that shows nothing of the car, that is as close as we can get to camera angles. But yes having about 3-4 directors following the main cars would be better, so that leave 4 spots for people who would like to video capture.

u will need a extra car dont forget so u can get extra camera angles with all the cars in also

And these people will need to have the same version of FRAPS as anyone else who wants to record.

 

I'm gonna go out looking for locations like petrol stations, long highways and carparks today so that we can have a list of places to record at.

if ya need a director who knows how to organise proper film shoots then ill be glad becuase u need to decompose the original top gear video figure out each scene how many mins in that scene locates, how the shots are taken and of course the way the vechiles are driving on the road, also extracting the audio and sync it up to the tdu video

I think we should have a few other people in the group coming along with ordinary cars like Audi's, 350Z etc. just to make it look like there's other people's cars in the area when filming.

in the options u can get rid of everything on the hud including names im pretty sure we need 3 audi a4 1 including me plus the 3 super cars to make this work two audi run along side the super cars and one at the front
