Good games for the Xbox 360?

Hey guys. For my birthday instead of a PS3 i have decided to get an xbox 360 elite console and of course Xbox Live to go with it :D. Are there any good games for it that i should think about?

Already got these in mind but more would be nice ;) -:

Forza Racing 2

Saints Row (Not sure about this but Baldred suggested it to me and said it was a good GTA style xbox game)

I agree that Saints Row is very good game. Still have it unfinished (blame TDU) but so far so good. If you like GTA type of games then you gonna love Saints Row. I would also like to add PGR3 to the list.

Well PGR4 is coming soon (GameSpot says Oct 2nd) so you could wait for that but PGR3 is still a great game. It's pretty short if you just aim for all silver but going after gold and platinum makes the game pretty long lasting. Cockpit view is incredible. Online races are mostly just enzo's and mclarens against eachother but still some fun.

The best online multiplayer game and supremely excellent offline single payer game is Rainbow Six Vegas and the GRAW's are really good too especially now you can download the new maps free !!

 

Don't miss out on Vegas though.

Saints row is a good game but online is not that good. If you like sports then the usual suspects from EA are good like FIFA 07 and Tiger Woods 07 but then bit th the 08 versions are out soon. WWE series is good but it does get repetative. Crackdown is a good game when playing online with someone but as a single player game it gets boring quite quick.

 

Don't know much about FPS's as I don't really like them, but Rainbow six has always got people online and Halo 3 is out the end of this month.

I would Recommend Dead Rising, Gears Of War, Bioshock, and a lovely game by the name of Halo 3 which is just on yonda horizon

Thanks again guys for the input. About vegas, i haven't really played any games like this before so i don't know if i would be any good. I could always try it though ;) and also how much is it likely to cost? May or may not get Saints Row, still thinking about it!

bioshock is lame its for drug addicts taking shots to get special powers.killing little girls to get powers.huge big daddys walking around in diving suit with drills on their arms and being underwater city wtf.honestly this game doesnt even have good graphics when they review this game its probably gonna get a 2 or a 3 it has no immagination a drug addict was prob the designer this will be one of ubisoft biggest failures but assassins creed all the way up :)

Failure? I think you'll find it has been number 1 in the UK all format chart and is currently at number 3...

OK I've only played the Demo, but from what I've read you can't shoot the little sisters.

 

It's a great game ... I'm actually going to pinch it from a mate once he's completed it (he's almost done it) ... it's got high reviews ... the only downside (if you call them downside) is it's a linear story (but sometimes theyre miles better) ... Oh and the graphics and atmospherics are amazing ... definitely a game to play in a darkened room

 

as to other game suggestions ...

Forza2 is great if you like circuit racers ... but NFS Pro Street looks great (Escort Cossie here I come) and PGR4 is out soon

1st person shooters I'm not a great fan of (I do have COD3 tho) but everyone raves about R6:Vegas and COD4 looks great ... and theres always Halo3

RPGs I still love picking up Oblivion and playing it every now and then ... but Fable 2 is out somepoint next year
