Video Store Open For ACTION!

It's finally here - the Xbox LIVE Marketplace Video Store is now open for business in the UK, Ireland, France and Germany. Get on there and get downloading!

One other cool thing you should know about - on Friday December 28 you'll be able to download a mystery movie in HD for only 100 MS Points in Ireland, France and Germany and 120 MS Points in the UK. Can't tell you the movie yet, but we'll announce it nearer the time.

Click here to read the full list of movies available for download from the Xbox LIVE Marketplace Video Store in your country.

And I'd love to hear your feedback - whether you've been trying it out, or even if you're from a European country that doesn't have Video Store yet.

Getting An Error Message From Video Store?

A few people have told me that they're getting an error message (Status Code: 8015000a) when they try to preview or download content from Xbox LIVE Marketplace Video Store. I've asked our support team about this - they know about it and it's being worked on. Here's the word:

"Xbox LIVE users may experience intermittent issues while attempting to access content on the Video Marketplace. This issue is currently under investigation and we apologize for the inconvenience."

Keep an eye on http://www.xbox.com/en-gb/support for the latest info.

The reason its not in all countries is that unlike the U.S all the countries that make up europe have different rating systems for media content, for instance in Germany you can't release anything to do with the war iirc. all of europe should get it eventually
