The effects on the left look messy, the render looks dull as if; either it's been lowered in opacity or you've toned it down to gray scale? and why is there a hand coming down from the right?

Did you try to create the grab effect?

Not really, i just couldn't find which was the first layer of that hand and gave up. Then i went through and just smudged it.

You will get there. My favorite kind of signatures a are smudge n render sigs. Smudging renders into the sig makes it look so nice.

Here is my rendition of the gas mask signature. aka destruction. The only problem. Can't get a good font

That is a very nice attempt King, you can easily spot the theme, you can see the destruction in the background and as a kind of reflection in the mask eye lids, good job.

Where do you think I get all my fonts from ;). It just won't be able to see the cool font because the way the sig is.
