Try turning on AA quickly when you go into photomode, it makes pics looks a whole lot better... Apart from that, they're very good :)

Anti-Aliasing. It's all to do with playing high-resolution graphics at a lower resolution, me thinks. Anyways, it basically smooths the edges out, getting rid of the jagged edges you see in your pics.

 

Press Esc - Options - Video, and you can turn up AA to 2x or 4x. Do you know what graphics card you have by any chance?

Looks dark? Are you sure you haven't changed the brightness instead of AA?

Nope. Im sure z06 has done it right. It's the same with mine, all you have to do is bump up the brightness again. It will say on the brightness slider that it is at it's brightest, however it's not. So just change it again.

 

It sometimes does that to me too.
