Have the way the boxes relate to the amount of rep we have changed?

Yep it seems that way, the upgrade must have brought a new calculation method with it.

Oh fair doos. I can't think what it relates to as you get rep powers form the amount of rep points you recieve and post count (or did - I think)

 

I wonder if it reset everyone and started again ... perhaps or a simple answer is staring me in the face!

I got to the second bar because I have 100 rep points total from people giving me rep, I guess the next bar is 250 or something like that which is why noone is there yet?
