Congratulations to MadMax for winning the first week of PhOTW! The new theme, chosen by him is:

This months theme: Food

Edible and lovely, so make it look so.

Closing Date: Sunday 13th July.

I've changed the timescale to a full week on and a full week off. I think its better this way instead of 1/2 weeks. And Its now alternate weeks to PoTW.

Good luck!

Hmmm I just thought of something: If the food itself looks nicer, then the photographer's skill kind of takes a back seat doesn't it?

But you could have a picture of a lobster if you wanted, but if the quality wasn't as good as someones picture of a salad then who knows.

I meant that the presentation of the food is probably going to play a big difference in the polls

I think that if someone took an awesome picture of a crisp, then that should win over say a pretty bad/OK picture of some amazingly well prepared beautiful platter of mouth watering food.
