As Mellors says ... black Alfa Spider is mine ... hence the silly comment and my sig ... and also my post in the 'showroom'

 

well to be honest Mellors I didn't like any of the 'standard' Minis there ... all a bit tatty for my liking ... the Rileys were nice (but not my cup of tea) and the pickup in the foreground was nice.

0-60 in less than 6 seconds, SWEET. I'd love to tune my own mini, but 8K? tis a lot.

 

It would be great if you could post up more pics, prefer the older cars to modern ones

Mellors - well the engine in the Mini cost me 2.5k ! And I only sold her for 5k in the end but that wasn't the point

Alfa is planning on coming back to the States ...

 

I don't think the current batch of cars will make it States-side but I think the plan is to start with the MiTo then the 149 (or whatever it may call the 147 replacement as it sounds like Alfa is switching back to names), then the small roadster (off 149 platform), then 159 replacement (2010 rumoured) and the 166 replacement (whenever it surfaces, hopefully in all it's RWD glory!

Looks like there was a great collection of cars at the Leeds Castle show, the Essex was in lovely condition wasn't it. I'll have to sort out the rest of the photos of the show that I saw these two cars at.
