A question on Sound Mod making

HI, I'm new to here, my TDU game crashed few month ago and I started playing GT4, but when I get back to it I tried looking for some cool things about TDU, and hopefully I found this Great web.

 

I was just wondering to make a Lamborghini sound mod, and I probally seen all the post in Test Drive Unlimited - Mod Shop, and someone tells that to use Audacity to create the file but I followed the instrtions and make my new Lamborghini sound clip only start up sound the smae length with the original one but the file is bigger, so is there any way to reduce the file size.

I'm I just found some resizer and convert it, but after I convert it when I play it on TDU it had no sound, and In Window Media Player it says can't read the codec.

How do you do that? I've got 44100Hz bit, but I haven't a clue how to make it 4 bits and MS ADPCM.

there's some converter tht lowers the file bit and size.

Ok, I am very stuck.. How do you make your mods guys? I'm trying to make a better V8 Vantage mod from You Tube but I can't get the sound right.. I try select a bit and repeat it, but it just sounds silly.

 

Could I have some tips from you guys on how to make it work well please??

umm, the easiest way is a buy a real car and hold the pedal and record the sound with a recorder.

Use Audacity and dBPowerAmp (Music Converter). Search for those on Google ;)

Thanks. I got audacity already. Just can't figure out how to make the mods sound good.. I only have a small (half a sec) constant note and can't get it repeating for the whole time it needs to without it sounding crappy.
