Well, TY people, just training and testing yet...

I noticed an "error"... that i think is the problem about the "new modders cars", the BNK editor distort the textures, i don't know if it's the colors limit(the standard dxtbmpx's editor is the MsPaint) or it's the re-conversion to *.2db .

 

About making car i think that my appreciation for photography and a good looking textures, "avoid" me to make a car, the Zmodeler2 recuses to open here, then I'll be an texture modder.

I'm creator of the DDS to 2DB re-converter. So if you have bugs, please send me more information and files that got distorted/corrupted.

Wow i didn't came here in the forum so far, now that i notice some interest,

 

the first time i wanted for this thread, be an universal user posting of their traffic mods,

 

i'll try to rebuild some textures to the cars look like the real cars that they wanted to be, like this pickup is the F150, or an Passat, Range Rover or Jeep...

I've said that as my Modding Tools might have distorted or corrupted textures... I'm very careful about quality problems as I want these tools to be really helpful to modders.

 

But if you think the problem is elsewhere, I'll believe you without probs. :)

DJey, i understood now, it's not a huge thing, but i noticed it because the traffic body and detais are all one made texture,

 

then i saw that the body car became a bit grainy, different of the smooth texture of the originals, i think so it happens on the gray scale colors, or small detais.

The texture tools for the 3D GTAs did it too...

 

Shy Guy, what i wanted to say is recreating the cars like as real cars, whit good detais, the original traffic cars, are low poly and non-3D details

 

Not only the dc300m02, but the others modders could(not must) test how the traffic cars parts are to "convert" the mod cars to traffic, before this, creating some "unlike" cars that almost nobody would drive in the game, specially for the traffic...

Well, the Police car desin isn't too much good to change cause the eden's desing do no help so much, i already do what i'll do, just wonder the best use of the textures...

 

But unfortunatelly ZModeler 2 doesn't work on any of my PCs, these cars you see are the original cars with textures modded... Like that thread* with a Skyline in traffic test, maybe some modder take his time to Traffic cars a bit instead playable cars...

:crying: SNIF! I was waiting some comments for my H A R D work, and you ask me, about converting cars to replace mine... so bad.

 

Well, this depends of 3 things:

If some modder from here want to do some effort for traffic cars;

Asking the GTA Modder (Copyrights) to let convert a car;

And what cars they(GTA) will permit them(TDUC) to convert.
